Thank you for visiting my page.

I am a reporter at WMBD-TV (CBS) in Peoria, Illinois. I wore many hats in my life prior to becoming a journalist: criminal justice researcher, legal administrator and a real estate agent, just to name a few. I grew up in Rhode Island and consider Narragansett Beach “my happy place.”

I hold a master’s in journalism and public affairs from American University (2020), master’s in criminal justice from Northeastern University (2009), bachelor’s in psychology from University of Rhode Island (2007) and certificate in paralegal studies from Boston University (2011)

My background affords me a unique understanding of the world, and I love to learn and explore the nature of the human experience. My research interests include mental health and juvenile justice.

In addition to daily reporting for WMBD-TV, my work has been published by Investigative Reporting Workshop, Outlaw Report, Solitary Watch and The Wash.
